Making dolls...

I've been asked to make more dolls....Which is really nice and a compliment.
I am hesitating because I make so many diverse toys for all the seasons, that it becomes pretty busy!
And this diversity is exactly what I like.
We will see what future will bring.
Don't know how you all do it, being creative and a full time mum. I am struggling with this..
As long as there are no deadlines it feels okay for me, and I stay a nice person... as it gets toooo busy.... uhm let's say I'm not responding to my own personal idea I have about myself...which is being creative and at the same time providing a stabile nice, happy warm environment for our family....
Also I promised myself and family if it was possible financially to be stay-at-home-mum for julia's first 3 yrs. so sometimes when I'm busy I think... now only 3 months to go, she will be three.... wauw already! yeah . but at the same time I think only three months to go, so make and enjoy all of it!
No stress! here... hé When a doll/toy is ready, it is ready. (Thank you for the wait!!!)
Know that I am busy preparing for the Waldorf Christmasfair at school...and new workshops,

New Familymembers

Trying to make new familymembers....
a very good friend of ours asked me to try to make the same doll as the one I already made: Sam,
what I have tried. What I found out: it is almost unpossible!!! as it is all handwork!! ,
And during the making-process, it also feels so good when a little doll-soul arrives.... so
I am ready to give her the one I already made, as they fell already in love with him,
and the one I made now.... is definitely a girl. She will have the name Mila.
I will continue with her making and show you a picture when she is done
and ready to play!!!

Hello dear All.
So, workshops will start, as soon asall the projects are out of my door... and at the people I promised it too.....also, all the projects running through my head... yee, must be all the travelling, what has inspired so much..

For the workshop:
Autumn starts again, A new vibrant coloured fase of the year!
With so many nice things to craft,
What would you think about playhouse-people, autumn-mobile, gnomes&houses. etc.
or a doll with accessoiries, a horse.....

starting

Yep, starting.... preparing, waiting, talking and .....do it.
so many questions to start a blog on my own. .....brrr...computer wisdom I salute you.
The actual making and creating part with paint, wool, felt, threads and fabrics I do understand.
Teaching and showing how to make one of these projects is great to do too.
Communicating to tell everybody what is going on, is the part I can improve on
In the process of starting another project again and again, I rather start another project than open my computer. So,
here is my first try.
Travelling around in B.C, The Netherlands and now coming back from travelling through Alaska
was very inspiring. Saw so many nice new materials, nature combinations and had great talks with inspiring artists. I am lucky to be surrounded by so many talented people, where I can share my creativity with.
